"Creativity is key"
Picture of Orlando Bloom (actor)
Orlando Bloom, actor, well known as Legolas from Lord of the Rings movies and Will Turner from the Pirate of the Caribbean movies. He struggled with Dyslexia in school but always found a way to keep his mind active through different forms of art. He would scribbled in class, then we tried sculpting, finally he found his calling on the stage. Acting was something he was good at and was encouraged to do. He would ask for this part a few days before so we could read, re-read, sleep on it, and then read it again to memorize his lines. He found that reading a script then sleeping on it made it more familiar the next day. Today he doesn't stuggle as much as he did in school, he's learned a few tricks and gain cofidences in himself to do anything he sets his mind to.
